With over 20 years hairdressing experience, Carla's dream was always to create a green, kind and sustainable salon. And her boutique studio Hair by Carla is just that. From creating beautiful personalised hair in a safe and supportive space to winning multiple awards - the latest being the Prestige Awards Vegan Salon of the Year - Carla has gained an enviable reputation that reaches beyond her salon's Wiltshire boarders.
But it took a health scare to take the leap and make her dream a reality.
"I went through six months of intensive treatment," Carla explains, "and came to the life-changing decision that I could no longer work with traditional chemical hairdressing brands."
Through research, Carla found Organic Colour Systems (OCS) - which aligned perfectly with her ethos and health requirements - and the rest is history.
Carla has worked with OCS for nine years now, partnering not only as a salon owner, but also as an educator, passionate advocate for sustainability, and now creative ambassador.
"I believe beauty should never come at the cost of our health, our planet, or the lives we share with it. With Organic Colour Systems, I get to live that belief every day."
